Kotak Salesian School, Visakhapatnam, is a minority Catholic Educational Institution (under the provision Art. 29 & 30 of the Indian Constitution), managed by the M.S.F.S as per the provision of the Andhra Pradesh Registered Society Act. The school was established on 17th June 1963 by the M.S.F.S who have been working in India since 1845 to meet the educational need of the locality, irrespective of caste and creed.

 

As a Catholic School we are working not only for the intellectual, cultural and physical development of our children from the earliest stages, but also for the formation of character by inculcating sound moral principles, so that they grow up as good children of God and responsible citizens of our country.

The objective of the Institution is to give its pupil a liberal education and turn out enlightened and disciplined students of sound moral character, who will be asset and credit to the country and glory to the mankind. The school prepares the pupils for the 10th I.C.S.E Examinations.
 
It offers Hindi and Telugu as the second language. Bi-monthly and Termly report of progress is sent to the Parents or Guardians. The school encourages the pupil to play various games , such as, Volley-ball, Basket-ball, Table-tennis, Throw-Ball Cricket, Shuttle Badminton etc. The School is divided into Four Houses through which the pupils are given opportunities for healthy competition and group work.
